Just wondering what you all do with mealworms to make them last longer.

A woman I bought some from at a reptile show said to take them out of the fridge every once in a while and dropping in a piece of potato or a veggie. Any tips you have?

I take mine out of the fridge for 24 hours one day a week and give them a water source. This gives them time to eat, shed in the warmth and get a drink from the potato or veggie I threw in. I make sure to take the veggie out before they go back in the fridge and remove any pupae or beetles I find. It also helps to get medium sized mealworms as they stay worms longer than the huge ones. Good luck with yours!
