Hi, I've got my UTH to get the hot side at a consistent 90-92F. It covers between 1/3 to 1/2 of her enclosure.
My problem is that with a small 2ft vivarium the cool side is stuck at 86-87F and I'd prefer it to be closer to 82F.
I was wondering if anyone knows any other tricks to keep a better temp gradient. So far I've tried:
1) Thermostat
2) Removing red bulb
3) Opening the viv window (worried about her escaping though)
I still need to try:
1) Using a smaller UTH (keen to avoid this due to costs)
2) Turning off my central heating (again, keen to avoid!)
Thanks for your help
