Now that I have a male, it's in my right to say what I've experienced so far, is that males are a LOT easier to keep?? They don't ovulate and stuff and usually don't have as much trouble eating as my females. Am I the only one?

Like my females go off food for weeks sometimes and my male eats like a pig every feeding day? I might breed for mostly males :p

My males do seem to hold their weight better and need less food. However, females are more valuable when it comes to breeding.

I agree in general, also males are friendlier. But I once had a male giant tremper who would come off food completely when housed with a female.
