I was watchin my male and female last night, and the female rub up against the male like under is head (dont Know why) and he bit her on the side. He let go, but when she came near him again he started to lick her and actually rattled his tail. is this a sign of aggression? should i seperate them?

When the male rattles his tail this is because he wants to mate and the female will respond by just laying there and letting the male do his thing (if she is receptive), if not she will hit him with her tail or even bite a bit if the male doesn' understand. The male biting the female is part of the mating process. It should not be a sign of aggression, but as always keep an eye on them when housing two geckos together.

Leave a bowl of mealies in the enclosure at all times if thats what you feed them. Or offer a larger amount of crickets if she eats them. Make sure they are properly gutloaded so that she intakes all the nutrients. Keep a bowl of calcium powder in the enclosure at all times also.
