Male Breeding Age

I know the breeding age for females starts at around 1 year, and I'm just wondering if the age of sexual maturity for males begins earlier than females or if it is about the same. Please send your responses or opinions.

i had a 7 month old male breed good with one of my females. but i think they do mature faster then females.

Size is more important than age for both sexes

In a month or so I'm going to be breeding my Paradox Eclipse Blizzard 66% het Bell to my Jungle Mack Snow Pastel het Blizzard 50% het Bell male who was born on 6/10/2006. The reason being is he just hit 55 grams this past week! If being with females would affect him on eating I'm not too worried because he's been in the same rack with a bunch of ovulating females since he hatched. I know he smells them!
