My question is concerning my male giant leopard gecko: I started breeding him at 80grams with only one female. They have been together for about a month and a half and he hasn't really eaten that much. It isn't a sickness because female would have go i they share water, but she is constantly ravenous, and neither show any signs of sickness of any type. He is very active moves a lot. He has lost about 7-8 grams, just wondering if this is normal for a male leopard gecko to not eat for a short period during breeding?
-Thanks

Yes male leopard geckos do tend to stop eating when they breed, that or they eat very little. Loss of weight happens to both male and females during the breeding season.

That's funny my only male that drops weight breeding is my giant. He is about the same weight as yours and the minute he is in with a female he stops eating completely.
