Male digging

I use paper towel as a substrate on the humid hide. My baby/juvenile male leopard gecko usually pushes the paper towel to one end of the hide, so that the other end doesn't have anything...what does this mean?

He's making himself comfortable? If it was a female she might be wanting to lay but since it's a male I'm not sure. My gecko digs when she's shedding, I dunno she might feel ugly.

Lol, my female does the same thing. Usually when I fix it once or twice she doenst do it anymore. I also see her do it if there is something she is trying to reach or get to.
