ok, so I'm sitting at the computer this morning and I hear a scuffle in the leo tank...I look over and the wall between Nuri(hybino) and Narcissus(snow het bell) is down!!!!!

The two of them are locked in a form of mortal combat and Nuri is whoopin butt! Narcissus now has a huge gash out of his tail...I just hope he doesn't drop it. So once I saw that they were fighting, my first instinct is "Grab favorite gecko (Nuri) well, my normally lovable gecko, who has only bitten me once when he missed his dinner and got me instead....grabbed hold of my knuckle on my middle finger and wouldn't let go!!!!!!!

It took me blowing in his face as hard as I could to get him to let go. Then I think he realized who he was biting and ran and jumped on me and hid under my hair!!!!!

I've put neosporin on Narcissus' tail and he's back where he belongs...

Nuri's only injury is a few slight bite marks on his head...I guess he got fighting lessons from Aaliyah (tail whips him across the tank when she's not in the mood)

Anyone else have any nasty bite pics? I'd post one of my finger, but alex broke the camera and I'm working on ebaying a new one. We're not sure if she dropped it or threw it....my money is on throwing.

Haha I was Lmao when you told me earlier.

That's really not funny at all. I don't think that males should be housed together even with a divider because they're easy to knock down. You're lucky you were around in time to catch that.

I don't think it's funny either. The two could have killed each other, and it's a good thing you were home and didn't find a huge bloody mess with mutilated geckos. Tonya, how do you have the 'wall' secured? IS here any way you could house them in separate enclosures?

there's a piece of wood on either side of the wall to keep it in place, they're a bit thin, so I think I'm gonna put in thicker pieces. I think that Narcissus may have been able to sneak up under the ceiling piece and get through to Nuri's side. That's the only way I can think that he got thru...the wood is secured against the glass on either side, it's not easily moved. I had a heck of a time putting it in. I'm gonna have to come up with something else though. only reason I even have the males set up like that is cause I ran out of space in the reptile room...I need a taller rack. Something I think I'm gonna put a priority on now...and more tubs
