male incubation temp

I wanted to incubate some eggs on male temps. One of the clutches I planned for that was laid on 14.04.2007. But because of delivery problems I got my "male incubator" ready for use not until today. Would it make sense to transport the eggs into the male incubator today or would it not? I think I've read that the gender would be locked after 2 to 3 weeks . . .

The gender is set in the first 2-3 weeks of incubation, so I would just leave them where they are and incubate the next clutch for males at 88-89 degrees.

That would sure be the saver way, but the problem is that I just want to incubate a limited number of eggs and this clutch is the last clutch of that female I've planned to incubate . . . So would the setting of the gender be a "lottery game" if I'd move them now? Because in that case, I would really leave them where they are and wouldn't incubate any clutch of that female for male this year.

Since the gender is set in the first 2-3 weeks your eggs are probably already female. If you were to change the incubation temp the fluctuation could cause birth defects or death of the embryo. There is a small chance that the hatchlings could be male but it is unlikely. I would just do as Marcia said and incubate another clutch for male.

Oh, that sound's horrible! :(
As I wrote, I woudn't have asked if I would have planned to incubate an unlimited number of eggs, I just asked because I only want to incubate 2 clutches of each female from that group, and that clutch is the second . . . But after reading about that consequences, I'm going to do without incubate males from this pairing this year.
