Male Leo's "Grooming?

I have two male Leopard geckos. One is about 4yrs old and the other is under a year. I have noticed that occasionally they'll "groom" themselves...they lick their genital area. Is this normal, do all leos do this?

I've noticed mine do this as well. People have recorded crested geckos doing the same too.

It seems to be a general gecko behaviour.

Well that's good to know. i just didn't want something to be wrong with them. I just they just like to be clean.

LOL, I'm glad you asked this! My girl does this too sometimes and I was afraid something might've been bugging her!
