Male or Females?

Hi everyone!
I am new to the forum and pretty new to gecko's. I have had these "guys" for about 6 months now and they are awesome. I am a middle school science teacher and they are our class pets. I have kind of felt that I may have a male and a female...but can't be sure. Recently I have seen some behaviors that now I'm thinking may be courtship and post-breeding behaviors, such as Isaac "licking" his privates!

Can anyone tell me from these pictures if I have two males? I am pretty sure Isaac is a male...but not so sure about Newton...

Isaac:

here is a picture of them together.... any idea of what kind of morphs they are?? Newton is on the left...I suspect her to be the female possibly. Isaac is on the right...pretty sure he is a male.

Both boys I think. Boys can be agressive to each other and might be marking their scent defensively....then licking??

If you have a male and female you would see a "deed" before the male cleans up.

second definitely a male the first I can't tell try another photo. But if they are both males the will kill eachother sooner or later so separate until the first one is sexed.

My amateur (first-year) observation is that the first pic Leo has distinct pore-holes instead of just pore-similar appearance?? but yeah the first pic Leo doesnt have "distinct lumps"...lol i was just guessing based on the appearance of the pores.

But in addition to stager, even if Leo#1 is actually a female, you still want to house males alone (solo)....not even with females unless you are prepared to breed them. :)

I would say both male, second one for sure.
So splitting them up is a good idea! If you do want to house them in group. make sure u have about 2-3 females if you have a male. or make sure they are all females.

One male x one female will end up in the male stalking the female.

Both look male to me. I would separate them before they start fighting with each other. If either of them are like one of my males, they'll get extra aggressive around the breeding season. You also might want to consider changing substrates. Loose substrate like sand can be ingested and cause internal compaction that can harm or kill the gecko. I'd suggest reptile carpet or even just paper towel.
