I have 2 males in a rack with about 10 females. All housed individually. 3 of them are RTB. 3 of them should be ready by February. The others are grow outs. Any way today one of my males is tail buzzing. There are 2 females that are RTB above him in the rack but I do not see them ovulating. Can he sense it? Second year breeding, only did one pair last year that had already been paired for the season. This will be my first year doing introductions. Thanks. Will.

I'm not sure as I'm new to breeding as well but my male, and even my females do this when they are hunting for food. It may be irrelavent to what your asking but I thought I'd throw it in there.

Okay, I'm just going to clear this up a bit. My male was making postures he does when he bred last year. He was rattling his tail and circling around the tank. The females in the rack (all housed alone) I bought this year as juvies. They are both around 50g. I also have some around 38-44g in the rack. He hasn't been doing this since I got him only last 3 days. Today I had someone ask me to sex their gecko. I also wanted to show them a female and male etc so they know what to look for. Low and behold when I flipped my first female, a glowing pink spot. I'm not saying this is science or anything. I checked them 2 days ago and every 7 days before that since they hit 40grams. The other largest one is ovulating too.
