And the Male I picked up the last time I was at your place in '03. He's about 60 grams and should be breeding next season. He's definately a spunky one with lots of attitude. I think he thinks he's actually a giant.

WOW, B-I-G fellas!!! The GGG male came from a female (Libby) that weighs around 80-85 grams, and is quite 'Rubenesque' (looks a lot like Jabba the Hut). She is my special girl!

Hi Samuel,

Most of my males are at least 3, which I feel makes a difference. My feeding regime is to allow free access to food which is dusted with calcium. Every week as i'm cleaning and feeding I track weights and when I start to see fat pockets building up underneath the arms, I back off their feed.


A good chunk of my Males are in the 85-100gram wieght prebreeding season. By the time the seasons done they all lose about 10-15% of their body weight.
