MarduReading.jpg < checking the temperature ^^

I know he's no special color (looks to just be a high yellow to me, though I do love his purple-ish tail!), but he is my first official gecko! If others have been reading, he was adopted through a reptile rescue and has MBD. Doesn't hold him back a bit though! He's a great eater (he even ate a dusted dead mealworm by choice!), and loves climbing, as seen in the photo.

He is so tolerant...poor little guy. We went to the reptile store today to get more hides, mealies, and calcium without d3 + multivitamin, and I feel like we've turned his world upside down twice already since getting him. Just the same, he is happily crawling about and very calm. I think he'll be a great gecko!

Thankfully his tank is properly set up now, so he can be left in peace for a while until feeding time on Tuesday :). Until then, we'll enjoy watching him explore!

you need to make sure you also dust a few times a week with a calcium mix that contains D3 as the D3 is crucial for correct calcium absorption in the body.
its so cool that you have taken him on and he looks really healthy despite his medical problems. :)

Oh yes. Ironically enough, he came with all kinds of calcium with d3, but it was practically unused. In any case, his worms will be dusted every other feeding with it to ensure he gets what he needs ^^. And thank you! I think he looks great, despite his floppy arm. More photos to come as time goes on and he gets the opportunity to adjust!
