"Marker" question

I saw in another thread where someone referred to white feet and white noses as "markers for eclipse." Can someone explain this "marker" concept to me and does it mean that the white-footed babies I have have a better chance of being het for eclipse?

White nose and white feet are very typical of the eclipse gene. Although most do have one of those two traits, not all eclipse's can have it, so you can't for sure say that a gecko is an eclipse just because of that.
No, just because a gecko has white feet does not mean that it has a better chance of being het for eclipse. It might be an eclipse but I have never heard that a gecko with white feet has a better chance of being het for eclipse.

Thanks, Andrew. This leads to another question, though: Do hatchling eclipses exhibit the solid or partially solid eyes immediately, or does it develop later?

Hatchlings always start with the most pigment. It either sticks or fades.
