Well let me just say I have no pitty on Marley anymore because he just seems to take advantage of it! It is obviously that this little boy is going to be PERFECTLY find, since he's becoming an absolute snob as of lately.
Just last week I changed out his humid hide because the one he came with had a whole that was too big letting it dry out and it had no lip to hold in the coconut fiber. So I went out and bought a small pack of tupperware and cut out nice little round holes, sanded them down so they won't get scratched and had a lip that wasn't too tall but just right to hold in the coconut fiber. FINE! During the week he was acting as if he didn't fit in the hide even though it's the same exact one he had before! Anyway yesterday I woke up and changed their paper towel substrate like I do every week. Well I changed it out, took the humid hide patted down the coconut fiber and misted it to build up that humidity, gave him so food and get back to my room. 5 MINUTES LATER I walk back into the room to see that Marley had kicked out most of the coconut fiber, making a BIG MESS! If he wants to live like a PIG fine, I'm not going to turn into his maid service. But was so funny as that he started sleeping with only half of his body in the humid hide as if he didn't fit and when he finally went in and went to sleep with his arms hanging out! He's smaller that Aurora so how the hell don't you fit in the hide!? Obviously he wants to act like a little donkey!
He's also been giving me the rattle snake tail! Each time placed my hand in the cage let it be to put down food, change water, mist the cage/ humid hide he runs out stares me down and vibrates his tail so fast that I swear I hear it rattling!
I just can't believe that, that poor little creature I took pitty on is turning into such a jerk!, lol. I still love him though, I just wish he'd stop being so mean to me.
