Weve been having alot of problems with weight loss here. All our girls seem to be diminishing, the one who lost her tail isnt counted due tot he shock. Jeanne's tail has become half of its original size. KiKi lost a bit of weight though not so much you can notice a difference in tail. The only one who seems to be staying around the same is the male, and it doesnt matter if hes with the females or isolated. Any idea what could be wrong? Weve offered them EVERYTHING, mealworms, superworms, waxworms, and everyone cept KiKi ate at least one pinky.

Honestly it sounds like parasites to me, fecals should be done to rutle that out but.....

What are your cage temps? The hot needs to be 90-92 or they will slow down and some will stop eating.

If they are breeding they may not eat but usually do not lose weight, they will go off food before laying then eat like pigs after they lay.

I don't know -- all my girls are doing this too. I have 4 boys and 7 girls (the males are not in with the girls), pretty much all adolescents (under 1 yr). The boys are still eating like pigs, the girls are not hungry, but otherwise act fine; only one has lost weight, and that was since she laid 2 infertile eggs. Could it be hormonal/ovulation???
