ok, so shadow shed last night like he does every 2 or 3 weeks, but this time i noticed that his whole bottom side is a really light color redish pink. and for some reason the temp in there boosted to 105 today, is he burnt or is this just his original color showing through?

105* is not going to burn him at all. The rocks where they live get a lot hotter than that. Heck, just the surrounding air temp get's a lot hotter than that. It's probably just irritated from possibly a rough shed in that spot.

Is there any way he could have gotten under the substrate and got direct contact with the UTH?

Sometimes when leos shed not all their skin is really "ready" to come off at the same time but they have no choice, they can't peel it off in ready sections so it all comes off regardless. The area will appear irritated, out of sorts with the rest of the body, possibly shiny or even feel a little gummy or sticky... all are normal. It is just the new not yet ready to be exposed skin in most cases, and it is really sensitive so you may want to make sure your temps stay below 93-95 in the viv for the next 3-ish days until the new skin toughens up a bit.
