Maybe getting a new gecko

My friend has a leo shes had for about 5 years now. I want to take her but I cant afford bringing her to a vet right now for a check up and im not risking my Prince. How likely is it that this leo could be sick is she has a nice fat tail and is 5 years old?

Quarantine her for 60 or 90 days. I do 90, but it might be a little too long to some people. If her poo is fine, and she's fine and maintaining her weight/eating great, then I'd say she's healthy. But if she doesn't seem fine, simply ask your friend to take her back.
