Is this the beginning stages of metabolic bone disease? If so how can I help keep him comfortable?

I also have a couple videos of him walking if you are intrested.

If you're worried about MBD then bring your Leo to a vet who will prescribe a liquid calcium supplement to give your Leo. Make sure you are also dusting his/her feeders every time with Calcium with D3 (no phosphorus) or a Multivitamin.
MBD can be reversed if you make sure they are getting adequate calcium.

Looks like MBD to me, but I'm not a vet. take your leo to the vet, leave a dish of calcium without D3 in his tank, dust every feeding with repashy calcium plus. Also, make sure you are gut loading all of your feeders. I feed my leo Dubia Roaches gut loaded with a mix of Fluker's High calcium cricket diet and roach chow from westcoastroaches.com. I also toss some greens and fresh fruit/veg in their bin once or twice a week. I gut load mealworms with the same thing.

Phoenix worms are also GREAT for helping with MBD, they also make great feeders in general.

Do you keep calcium (with no D3) in his tank at all times? They will lick it up as they need it. :)

As said above if you are worried go ahead to the vet, if it is MBD the sooner its caught, the better off he'll recover with no issues.
