Mealie Impaction

One of my females (have no clue which one) has passed a large wad of undigested mealies. It is all stuck together (like smushed). About 1" long and about 3/8" - 1/2" wide in the largest area. Since she passed it, should I be concerned. All look very alert and happy. Should I lay off the mealworms for a while? All I fed tonight were crickets dusted with cal.

I know mealies are a BIG no-no with bearded dragons. But I know a lot of folks feed them to geckos. I didn't even start feeding mealies until about 2-3 weeks ago because I was afraid to. I guess I had good reason.

It could have been. It didn't look like it was digested in any way. I didn't know they regurgitated their food. Is this common?

try offering less mealies more frquently or use smaller mealies relative to the size of the gecko.

Yeah, that was what happened the first time I brought my first gecko Wiggles home, on the first day. She is a weird gecko, all of my others don't eat until like 3 days after I bring them home. She also doesn't like waxworms, so it is kind of hard to fatten her up.:rolleyes5: Too weird
