Mealies in the bowl?

I have had my leo for about 8 months now. I still have not found a good way to keep them alive in the bowl in the terrarium. I am now feeding two leos, but the worms still just usually die within 24-48 hours. I use both mealies and supers. I have tried the carrot thing. Everyone says that helps to make them more active. But they still just die off faster than they're being eaten. I've also tried just putting a little water gel in the bowl. I have put them in the bowl with the middlings or whatever it is they're packed in, but I don't think my girls want a mouthful of that stuff. I put the bowl on the cool side of the cage, so I'm not cooking them. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

it might be where your placing the bowl...if its on the hot side, the mealies might be frying. If its on the cool side idk what the problem could be

Put a small chunk of carrot in the bowl with them it gives them some moisture and keeps them gut loaded

Put your 10 in at night and when you wake up, replace those 10 with fresh ones and put the old ones back in to feed. You don't need to put anything in the dish with them. I do this every night and I have never seen one dead in the bowl, so something else must be going on.

I keep my dish in the center of the viv.

You have to alternate the mealies everyday. I not eaten overnight replace them with fresh ones in the morning and throw the old ones in with the rest of your stock to gut load for another time..

Awesome! I've never tried rotating them like that, thanks. I'm also going to start ordering my feeders instead of getting them at the pet store. It's just so easy b/c it's less than a mile from my apartment. I think that has something to do with it too.
