The reason they say to change the bedding every 2 weeks is because the beetles have a tendency to eat the eggs. By changing out their bedding, it reduces the amount of eggs eaten. We change out our beetles about every 2 and a half to 3 weeks. Hope this helps.

What kind of temperatures are recommended? Im assuming that the 60s are way to low? Im out of room in my reptile room so I will have to expand to the basement but its in the 60s so im assuming ill need to use heat tape to heat up containers just trying to figure out what I need to heat it up to.
