3) The care you give them depends on how much space you want to give them and how you want to raise them.
4) Simpliest way
a) Have two containers. One for gutloading them and another for raising them.
b) Raising them ... Get a large container, you do not need sides that are high, put food in the container, put moisture in the container (I like carrots.), put mealworms in the container, wait for pupae, wait for beetles, wait for mealworms, then wait for them to grow.
c) As for food, that depends. As for sorting out the mealworms, that depends, As for cleaning out the Frass, that depends.
I have been to about 20 different websites. I have printed off 5 or 6 different ways to Raise Mealworms. I have combined what I have learned and I am going to use 4 Sterlite shoe boxes to raise them and I have only just started. I use one food (combination of stuff) for gutloading and another combination for raising.
