Well I managed to breed about 4 generations, and I was thinking of selling them (I figured out 50 beetles produces WAY too many mealies to feed a leo). I know to fill out the USDA form (And currently waiting for confirmation)
But would I have to get a buisness thing? What all do I need to have?
And for those of you who buy, would deli cups be good for shipping? I found out that the ones I have myself are more active, but not sure if that is a heat or bedding thing yet.
Also, if anyone has any advice about mealworm breeding, I could certainly use it! I'm currently using wheat bran and carrots. Heated under a lamp to roughly 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Mostly, I wonder how many beetles to a gallon. I read somewhere only about 150, but I have about 75 in less than a cup, with plenty of carrots.
