Mealworm pupae

I have my first mealworm pupa (purely by accident, but hey why not use it to my advantage). I separated it from the rest of the mealworms. Does it need moisture? It really does not move all that much unless I touch it, is that normal? How long will it take before it is a beetle? Thank you in advance for any help.

Yes, that is normal...it won't need moisture 'til it's a beetle, which should take a week to ten days I would guess? I have too many of them to keep track of how long they take individually, heh.

Geckos will eat the pupea and its not bad for them, infact many geckos prefer it and treat them as snacks. Even the beetle cannot harm the geckos as it is small and they could eat it if they felt like it.
