OK guys this may seem like a really stupid question but here goes.....

I have roaches for feeders and both me and my geckos LOVE them. The problem ATM is that I have fed off all the roaches I can as the are all either to big or to small. SOOOO I bought 3000 mealworms and have started to feed them instead of roaches, now my geckos seem to not care for the worms (even though thats what they were all feeding on when I got them) but here's the kicker.... how in the heck do you get the meal worms out of their bedding????
I spend a good 30-40min just trying to pick out the worms from the meal that I keep them in to gut load them for a few days and then more out of the bin I keep them in to restock the gut loading container and its DRIVING ME NUTS lol. I was just wondering if anyone has an easy way to get the worms separated from the meal. :main_laugh::main_laugh:

There is no such thing as a stupid question.

You count them out one at a time.:D

I have read several posts in the feeder section and a couple of the members have said that you Grind Up the substrate to a fine powder or Grind Up the substrate so that it is a coarse mix, but fine enough to go through a screen.

You can either make a screen box or you can use a colander from the kitchen to sift out the substrate.:main_thumbsup:

Now if you were then to want to count them, in groups of 100, 200, 300, etc. you have to do some additional work.
