Mealworm shortage?

Why is there a mealworm shortage in my area right now? Is it everywhere? Is there a place where I can bu them online somewhere? I was thinking about maybe breeding my own mealworms....what is the best way to do that?

USA is experiencing a mealworm shortage, one of the largest if not the largest suppliers had their eggs not hatch. Which then caused their demand to go to other companies, so now nobody has them. So nope, you can't them anywhere, as far as I know. Then for breeding them, I have no idea.

Yep, I'm hoping this nightmare gets over soon. I check this forum daily to see if there's any news on em.
