Is there a way to slow the process of pupating? I don't mean refridgerating, I mean like a technique or a food? I have about 300 atm and get about 4-6 pupae each day

Lowering the temp is the only way I know.

Lowering the Temp

Lowering the overall Temp is the only way.

Their Growth depends on the Temp.

And you can only slow down the growth rate if you slow down their metablism and that means that the temp must drop.

lowered temps and lots of moisture *carrots, potatoes* now the moisture doesnt nessisarily slow it down, but it sure does seem to speed up with out the moisture... *shrug*

I put them in the fridge and they last for months with out pupating.
