mealworms

ok i bought some today, but there is sand or poop in the bag lol...do I need to separte it? I am guessing probaly as I dont want my geckos to get impacted. Yes i am dumb at times

That sandy stuff is most likely frass (mealworm poop). It's not a big deal. You can separate the mealworms from the frass with a strainer or something like that if there's too much and it bothers you.

thanks they stink...i am thinking of giving up on the crickets totally they dont seem very into them
