Finally got some pictures of my little guy - Chico. Picked him up at the Northwestern Berks show on December 6th. He's so mellow and a pleasure to handle. He loves to jump on peoples faces!

Sadly, he hasn't eaten and only pooed once since I got him. Any advice on how long it'll take for him to start eating? I'm offering Repashy Crested Gecko MRP.

Here are some pictures. This is his color at it's best. I think you guys call it being "fired up"?
Note: I have very tiny hands so he might appear bigger than he actually is.

Any clue as to what morph he would be considered? Is it too soon to tell? I read they change a lot from juveniles to adulthood.

He just licked a ton of baby food off of my finger. I tried offering him both plain CGD and a mixture of both - he was repulsed.

At least he ate something. :)

Is the CGD your feeding flavored? A lot of times they can't STAND the UN flavored kind. All the new stuff is flavored with banana or honey, and now they have new fruit flavors like passion fruit, etc..

He still looks a really nice healthy weight so I wouldn't be too worried, sometimes they won't eat for a few weeks.

Try not to feed a lot of baby food, they can get hooked cause it's so yummy!

Just try to feed him CGD out of a lid while holding him, dip his nose a tiny bit in it and he will probably start licking it off.

Still offer it every night.

I believe he is just a normal.

It smells fruity but it doesn't have a flavor labeled.

Oh, and I can tell he loves the baby food. He really went nuts. Licked my finger clean thrice in one sitting!

Then it probably has some sort of fruit powder in it..

If he doesn't eat the CGD after a month or so, and he is getting really skinny, you can try crickets and all organic fruit baby food.

Aw he's so cute!
Mine did the same thing and even now, 4 months after I got him there's hardly any food missing from his bowl and few poops in his tank. He went nuts though when I gave him some mashed banana for a special christmas treat though.

I use organic baby food to mix my CGD with. My gang also likes pureed mango. Your little one is a real cutie. Congrats.

The trick I found is to mix your CGD or MRP with half baby food. I used peaches or banana baby food. Your Crestie will be drawn to the CGD or MRP by the smell/taste of the baby food that it likes or is used to. Each week cut back on the amount of baby food added to the diet. Soon your gecko will get the idea. Good luck and congrats on the crestie!
