He is a great example of G. Smithii, the ones I've always seen have been a lot darker in color.. And of course, who can't deny the eyes are so friggen cool on these fellas.. Same disposition as a tokay, is he a tame one at all? With a name like SirBIte, I'd think he's not lol..

No he's not tame. He rarely snaps now. These guys are real timid. They are huge though so he could cause soem real damage. I'm going to try and tame down babies soon when they hatch. He lives with Lady Chomp.

So these can change there color from lighter to dark. It's also possible that in the past you may have seen G. siamensis or G. taylori.
