Merging Terrariums

I have a 2 yr old female Leo who I have in a 20L terrarium and I also have a 4 month old gecko who is in a 10 gallon. I was wondering at what age should I move the 4 month old over into the 20L? I don't know if the younger one is male or female yet (hoping female so I don't have eggs).

Thanks.

When the time is right

How long have you had each? ... let's say at least 90 days in a separate container to make sure that there are no parasites.

Make sure that the 4 month old is about the same size and weight. We do not want any bullies in the tank.

Then, I think that you can clean out the 20 gallon tank, clean everything, and put it all back in. Ajdust your temps and put one gecko on one side of the tank and the other at the other side and see what happens.:main_thumbsup:

Besides the mentioned quarantine period to make sure both are healthy, you'll want to move them in when they're comparable in size and weight and once you confirm the younger one is a female. I'd say it depends more on the size than the age.

Yes, I have a Tremper Giant and the other is a regular size Murphy's Patternless (or jungle; I can't tell yet) so I don't think they will be comparable in size any time soon. When the younger one is full size I don't know how it will compare to the Giant Tremper. On average what are size differences between giants and regulars? These are my first two so I haven't really experienced the full range of size and shape quite yet.

Thanks :D
