Mice Breeders?

Can anybody recommend a good mousery? Like pet mice, not feeders.

We breed mice, they are for feeders but I dont see why they cannot be pets. They are different colors.

I don't believe you can ship Live Rodents legally? I may be wrong.

I think some do but I'd prefer to find one within driving distance so I wouldn't have to pay the shipping fee, but I doubt that's going to happen since I live in Alabama. I've checked pet stores, they only have the white feeders. Years ago I had a lot of pet mice all different variations I got from a breeder in MS but she doesn't breed anymore.

Check craigslist and the papers. I've seen many posts for pet mice. Also local shelters sometimes have them. Especially if you can find a rescue specificially for small/pocket pets/ rodents.

If I may intrude, I say you go with Rats instead. They make EXCELLENT pets. Most are very affectionate and love free roam time.
