Cool! The T-Birds are stationed here @ Nellis AFB they got a pretty cool show, so did they syke you out when the one solo jet passed over in full after burner while the others had your attention?

It was a great time. We actually took the boat out onto Michigan (the breeze and cold water were great in the heat!), so there were a few times that they were a couple hundred feet right above us (which is really, really loud by the way). It was nice to have a relaxing day on the water.

I've seen the thunderbirds many times. In my flickr album I have tons of pictures of the Blue Angels at Capital City Airshow.

Excellent pics!! I was supposed to see the blue angles but the show got rained out as usual. I've been going to air shows since I was a kid and look foward to them every year just as much as then. That F-15 is just amazing in person. Did it do a verticle take off ? That is by far my favorite fighter. Gotta love a plane thats been in service since 1972 and has yet to be shot down.:main_thumbsup:

The blue angels came last year and I didn't have the camera at the time, but I still went down to the lakefront to watch them. I'm actually not sure about take-off since they take off at the Milwaukee airport and then travel approx 10 miles to the show site in order to avoid all the houses and such in the area. I'd love to be able to actually get up close to one.
