Misting question

My crestie is about 7 weeks old now and I was told to mist 1-3 times a day. Morning lunch and a heavier one at night. I was also told to make sure it has dried out between mistings. I was thinking is it worth misting in the morning and afternoon if they are nocturnal? I was also thinking why do we mist at night when they cold be having a damp wet cold soggy night?

I mist mine really well at night when they are up. I also have a humidifier running since we have the ac on and it dries out the room.

if the gecko is only 7 weeks old it will need misting more than once a day. They will get bad sheds more easily at that age. i have to mist mine 2 to 3 times a day until they are a few months old.
