I was researching substrates for some odd reason and I came across some people claiming that mites infest repti-bark. Now im really nervous because I use repti-bark. People have said that mites have infested their snake and sometimes killed the snake. How do I know if my repti-bark has mites? Im thinking now of changing my substrate to Aspen and giving it a nice cleaning and then putting my snake back in. I dont want to lose her to mites. How do I know if she has mites or mites infest the tank?
