Alright, baseball is just around the corner and wanted to know which teams you all will be rooting for. It's ok to root for your own team but in REALITY, which teams have a better chance of making the playoffs.

I will be rooting for the WHITE SOX but don't know if they'll be good this year. Cleveland and Detroit are powerhouses that can't be reckoned with this year.

As for the Cubs, well let's just say no World Series this year either.

I've been a diehard mets fan since I was a kid and I'm sick of seeing them lose it at the end of the season or getting season ending injuries....with our pitching rotation this year watch out !!!

this is the buccos' year. they're finally going to get over the post-barry slump they've been in for all these years.

I am looking forward to this year, not only do I think that Atlanta will have a pretty good team, but my little cousin is now playing minor league ball with the Tigers as a catcher so I will be following some Detroit Tigers minor league ball as well!!

Same with US Cellular field for the White Sox. I hate that name, prefer Comiskey Park. At least it sounds better when most of us in Chicago call it "The Cell" or "US Comiscular".lol.

SORRY, This is going to be long because I just went to my 1st baseball game. LOL!!

========================================

You know what?

Leon and I never liked baseball and never had the desire to go to baseball games. THEN, mid-March 2008, my friend said he was celebrating his 21st birthday at a baseball game and invited us. We said OK, but didn't really want to go.

We're from San Francisco and we have this "Battle of the Bay" thing going on, where it's the San Francisco Giants vs. the Oakland A's. So he books the tickets for March 28, the Giants vs. the A's. Being from SF, I bought a Giants cap before the game and took BART & MUNI to get there and Leon bought an SF Giants poncho (it was raining...lol).

Baseball Games Are Fun. We were drinking, eating garlic fries, and going nuts. Leon and I never knew it was so fun and we want to go again!! Someone came in a Dodgers jersey and my friend saw him and started cheering, "BEAT L.A.! BEAT L.A.!" and before you know it, EVERYONE is cheering "BEAT L.A.!" My friend, drunk as he was, followed him back to the stands cheering "BEAT L.A.!" with the friends he brought and all the other people in the stadium. I couldn't stop laughing!!

I know the Giants aren't doing well this season, but they won that night 3-0! And, I'm now an SF Giants fan :) NOW ALL I HAVE TO DO...... is understand the rules. LOL.

Awesome! I try to go to a baseball game at least 3 times a year. It's always fun if you go with the right people. As for the rules, you'll get the hang of it sooner rather than later.:main_thumbsup:
