Moist Hide

So, my little guy is super afraid of his moist hide! I mean, he won't even go near it. He has sniffed it and licked it, but he just looks at it then walks away. One time he poked his head in but ran away! He's terrified!
He's about to shed and I'm worried because he still has a piece of shed stuck on his head from the last time since the pet store was too hot. I've tried to get it off, but he won't let me and nips at me since he is a baby.
How do I get him to like his moist hide? Will he go in it now that he is shedding?
Also, I use paper towel in it.. how often should I switch it? How often should I water it down?

What is the temperature of his moist hide and what does it look like?

It's a Tupperware container an it was 92 last night when soaked it up

Do you use a paper towel in it? It might be better to get one that's not see through if they're still scared of you.

Oh you know what, that is so it!! He is still scared me of me! Gah, I will try and switch it tomorrow. I did today but couldn't find another tupperware thing that wasn't see-through.

Just try to look for an empty container that's not see through that has a lid that can come on and off.

Maybe the temp is a little high? Can you offer him another humid hide on the other side of the enclosure?
