Moist Hide

I always see these types of moss in petsmart, petco, etc... are they okay to use in the moist hide?

We bought the first one pictured because we had to replace the vermiculite in our hide, and it was all that PetSmart had...it's okay, we had to shred it into a bunch of pieces and it's been working well, we already had a female lay eggs in it.. We are going to replace it with Sphagnum moss as soon as we can, though. I don't know about the second one (not sure what fir moss is), but the Fluker's moss looks good too.

I would just use spagnum or peat. Don't waste your money on those. You can get a HUGE (like 50 lb) bag of peat for about $20.
