Moist Hide

What is the best substrate for a warm hide, I've been using moss, but have seen pictures of other people's set ups. And it seems they are using a different material.

For most hides people use moss which is perfectly fine. I've seen a lot of people using Sphagum Moss in other cases peat moss. Other substrates I've heard of people using are Paper towels and Coconut Fiber.

I use paper towel, and Kiya seems to like it.
So much so she has barely come out of it since yesterday. Lol

I use moss

Some people may use verilmite (or however it is spelled) it is a potting container mix that retains moisture.
