Moist hide

Hi all,

I got question about moist hide. I'm wondering where such a hide should stand: on warm side of box or cold side? Right now I got box filled with vermiculite on the cold side. Should I put it on warm side?

I always keep mine on the arm side. I look at it this way: Water doesn't evaporate when it's cool, so I figure it would stay a wet box, whereas on the warm side it will evaporate and increase the humidity inside the box.

That's just my two cents.

We have had the most success placing the himid hides on the warm side of our tubs.

I have mine more on the warm side.

I've questioned this too but the majority of owners have it on the warmer side of their tanks!
