Moist hide

Hi all,

I got question about moist hide. I'm wondering where such a hide should stand: on warm side of box or cold side? Right now I got box filled with vermiculite on the cold side. Should I put it on warm side?

Most people, including myself...keep it closer to the warm side. Not directly over a UTH but close. It helps keep the moist hide, well, moist.

Yup, I have mine between warm & cool side. I do prefer having a part of the moist hide sitting on the warm floor, this way it steams the moist hide up just a tad, but not too much. Leopard geckos are cold blooded animals. It's much better to keep them warm & moist, rather than cold and wet.
