I've lost two eggs to it thus far but have a safe humidity of 70 following Albey's method. How do you guys keep mold off of eggs?

If the eggs are good and the incubation method is good I never have a problem with mold. What are you incubating in? Are you sure they're fertile? Did you wipe the eggs or anything else before you placed them to incubate? More details about your set-up may help.

I had a bag of hatch right from 2 years ago that had never been opened, but it was fairly dry. I used that, seeing as it was essentially perlite and multiple people told me it would suffice. The eggs were laid both on paper towel and in Eco earth, both of which I marked lightly with a sharpie and then buried in the hatch right (approximately 3/4-1/2 if the egg uncovered). They sat at 82 degrees and I would take the lid off of their container once every four days to check on them and allow airflow. They are in a hovabator.

Hmm then it may just be that they're not fertile? Everything else sounds fine. Do you handle them to candle or anything with your bare fingers?

I always wear non-powdered latex gloves when I handle eggs because the oils on our fingers and mess with the egg shell, which has natural mold-fighting properties. Not saying that's the problem, but it's worth mentioning. I see that in general people on this forum candle their eggs a LOT, every few days it seems like, and that amount of handling could be bad with bare hands.
