Moldy eggs

Hey guys, this is my first year breeding leopard geckos. Two of my females were gravid and laid their eggs. One laid two large healthy looking eggs, but once they were in the incubator after 3 days, they molded and I had to throw them away. The other girl laid two eggs, one tiny solid looking egg outside her box and the other an okay looking egg in the box. I threw out the solid one and am trying to incubate the smaller one.

Both females are in their first breeding season, and I heard sometimes females first eggs are duds, but is there something Im doing wrong? I have a hovabator incubator set to 82 degrees and they are in deli cups with Hatchrite. The hatchrite had been sitting around for a while so when I opened up the bag, it was really dry and I added some water. Did I make it too moist?

thanks everyone
