My third and final female just laid her first two eggs. Mack raptor female x heavy afghan raptor male. I produced some smokers from these two two seasons ago, but sat on them last season. Now to spend countless sleepless nights tossing and turning just waiting for these eggs to hatch

No fair!! I've gotten two pairs of infertile from first year breeders and one decent pair from my raptor female. I'm fair too impatient for babies!!

Glad to hear yours are doing well for you though!!

Same here. I have "one egg" due to hatch next week. Two more eggs are looking good, but I have two that are starting to go bad. SLOW startup!!:main_no:

I have one who is a first time breeder. I actually don't candle mine to make sure there fertile. I just don't believe in messing with them.

All I've gotten are infertile clutches. And now nothing. I don't know how I'll be able to wait for eggs to hatch when waiting to get the eggs is so hard.

I never do the candling. I will put them in the incubator, regardless. I will know in a few weeks if they are viable.
Brillobee, don't despair, the breeding season has just begun. Good Luck!!
