I'm curious as to know what local he is... I don't know if anyone on these forums would know but if you do, please indulge :). I've been told lake chapala, san felipe, etc...

Honestly without knowing its Background all I can do is give you an educated guess. But it looks like a San Felipe or Anza Borrego.

Nah, he doesn't really look like any Anza Borrego's I've seen. He does look like a San Felipe though, his colors might be a little darker. He was sold to me as a rosy boa, no background info.

Well the San Felipes Range intersects with Anza Borrego's. I`ve seen both in the Wild as well as intergrades. But its definitely a Coastal.

Yeah we can definitely agree on the coastal idea. I don't know about the Borrego just because all of the ones I have seen online or at shows had very very thin orange stripes, no where near as thick as my guy's. I could be wrong but I'll try to find some pics.
