I'm currently confused about the difference between Tangerines and Hypos. I looked through The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos and I could not find the difference between a hypo and a tangerine. If anyone could shed some light my way, I'd be very happy :)

A tangerine is a very orange gecko, but could have body spots. A hypo means it would have little or no body spotting, but could be yellow or tangerine.

So a hypo tang would be a Tangerine with little to no body spotting?

Thanks, Marcia. Xavier, the first one used to more tang when she was a baby, but it faded some as she got older. She still has a tiny amount of tangerine on her, but not very much. The second one isn't a tang at all. Just a super hypo. ;)
