This was sold to me as a tang? Is that true? She has very little pattern and quite a lot of orange in her tail.

Still a bit of a newbie here guys .. what make her a "super" compared to a regular?
She was bred with a super snow and gravid but I haven't seen her hatchlings yet. i bought her off a friend who has her first few clitches of this season but haven't hatched yet, wonder what they'll look like :)

Great thanks guys!! :)

So is this girl a patternless albino .. or would she also be considered "super hypo" too due to lack of spots? Sorry I swear I'm not totally new, I just have more knowlegs about iguanas and bearded dragons then leo morphs as of yet lol And of course they are always sold to you with just a generic name. This one was just sold as an "albino" but of course she has no pattern, ruby eyes and a nice butter yellow color (tremper?).

she is a patternless albino would need pics of the eye to see what you mean by ruby eyed and possibly help determine what strain of albino...

There are a couple different genetic traits that have no spots. These are patternless and blizzard. Super hypos are not a genetic trait, they are line bred. Meaning over several generations of choosing geckos with less and less spots were bred until they created geckos with no spots on the body.

You should read up on morphs, the leopardgeckowiki.com is very useful. check it out! :)

Thanks that page looks great, I'll have to take more time and read it all over!! Thanks. I've done some reading on genetics, sites like http://vmsherp.com/ViewLeopards.htm and a few others. I've looked up punnet squares and that kind of thing, it's just getting use to the distinct difference between the vast amount of genetic morphs, very interesting!! I don't think a single gecko that I've purchased was actually the morph it was sold as, which I knew. I knew this little albino wasn't just an albino considering she had bright red eyes and was completely patternless, thats why I bought her. Same as the tangerine, I was pretty sure it was a carrot tail as well but I didn't think of the "baldy" part.

My new SHTCTB also laid her first clutch for new last night! :p
