Recently I got a gecko that was sold to me as a tremper sunglow. But looking at it it does not look like what a typical sunglow looks like (Solid orange body).. Could this still be a sunglow?
It's a little difficult to assess because the pictures are poorly lit and the gecko is going into shed, but that gecko doesn't really look to pass muster as a Sunglow.
A Sunglow is an albino Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail. I see Albino. The body doesn't have any defined spots, but it is heavily mottled with lavender. Personally, I feel that lowers the quality of the Super Hypo; not certain how breeders feel about that. Tangerine isn't all that orange, although maybe it will improve after shed? Not seeing much of a Carrot Tail at all though.
